This was an awesome and dynamic Christian dance and worship conference, led by pastor Lynn Hayden of Dancing for Him Ministries International. See the photos This is a biblically based and spirit filled organisation based in the USA, with a desire to promote creative expressions of worship. Lynn Hayden has extensive dance experience (35 years), and has taught at many conferences and workshops. Lynn has also written books and produced videos that have been a great blessing to Christian dancers. Both Lynn and her huband Tom move in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, including healing and prophecy. The teaching at the conference was excellent, with many choreographic tips for those who are not trained dancers. It enabled you to take the training back to your dance group and apply it to your own situation, rather than learn a dance "parrot fashion". The teaching was thoroughly backed with scriptural references as well as being very practical. Instruction was also given on how to incorporate dance into ministering to people, and the times of ministry and worship were a great blessing. |
