Road travel
Great Blakenham is a village about 5 miles west of Ipswich. The conference venue  is less than 2 miles from the Claydon junction of the A14 (and is easy to find). Full instructions will be sent with confirmation of booking.
Public Transport
Great Blakenham is approximately half way between Ipswich and Stowmarket, which are the nearest main railway stations. A few trains from Cambridge and Peterborough stop at Needham Market  which is about 3 miles from the venue. A regular bus service between Ipswich and Stowmarket stops in Great Blakenham.

Accomodation
There is a variety of accommodation available in the locality. Bed and Breakfast in a guesthouse is available from £15 per person per night.

Travelodge - Ipswich (Beacon Hill) is about 4-5 miles away and close to A14
Other amenities
Most amenities are available within 3 miles. Claydon is about 2 miles away and has a post office, co-op, and a newsagents. An ASDA superstore is situated about 3 miles away on the western outskirts of Ipswich. This has cash machines, a petrol station, a pharmacy, and a large range of goods.
Food
Tea, coffee and squash will be provided at the conference at no extra charge. Delegates are welcome to bring their own packed lunches to eat at the hall. There are restaurants and food shops locally.
